So when we set up the Memorial Shoot, we always knew that the money raised would be put towards a good cause. In February 2013, we ordered a defibrillator for Middleton-In-Teesdale, which now lives outside J. Raine & Son in the village. And we are now in talks to get one installed in Langdon Beck.
Recently the defibrillator was needed by a local man from Middleton-In-Teesdale. But thankfully due to the quick thinking of his family and the fact that a defibrillator was readily available in the village, they were able to successfully use the defibrillator until an ambulance arrived to take him to hospital.

It was just by chance that one of his family members had been trained to use the defibrillator days before. We hold these training sessions locally and regularly if you wish to find out more please get in touch. Click here to email us!

This would not have been possible with out all of your support and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has attended the annual Stephen Mitchell Memorial shoot, because without you, we would not have been able to purchase the defibrillator.
We strive to continue the hard work and hope that you will join us at next years shoot on the 26th July 2014. Click here to keep up to date!
Thank you,
Mitchell family.
